Good, honest content
for the arts, education,
and technology
We believe in the beauty and power of language.
We work with organizations to create clear, compelling content that illuminates the best of what they do. We’ve collaborated with Tony- and Oscar-winning artists, top-ranked universities, and forward-thinking tech companies to create communications that enlighten, educate, and inspire action.

About Brave Bird
Lesley Gibson has more than 15 years of experience collaborating with high-profile arts, education, and cultural organizations to create evocative marketing and educational content. She specializes in helping organizations develop communications that do justice to their creative or technical work, content that connects with the right audiences and inspires them to action.
She’s reimagined websites for a better user experience, written show copy for blockbuster performances, built blogs from scratch, and crafted long-form articles on everything from the rebel poet Christopher Logue to how AI is shaping the museum experience. She specializes in helping high-profile organizations create communications that resonate with diverse audiences and has collaborated with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony winners.
Lesley grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and has lived in London, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Chicago. She’s based in New York City and—like the bar-tailed godwit, the brave bird that migrates annually between the US and Australasia—travels frequently to Sydney, Australia.
People love to tell her that she asks a lot of questions.
